Day 6

Trust your intuition.

“beyond wisdom” the gate that leads to the inner realms

The Third-Eye or Ajna Chakra is the sixth wheel of energy and it represents our intuition or sixth sense. It’s location in between the eyebrows is integral to our lives and how we perceive the exterior world as well as our own interior dialogue.

When this chakra is balanced, you trust your intuition to face life challenges and decisions, the ego dissolves into the background, and you can begin to uncover what your truly value is in life.

When out of alignment, you can be cynical, too attached to logic, untrusting and possibly have problems with vision, headaches, and migraines.

Chakra Mantra: “I follow the path of truth and intuition.”

As it relates to relationships, this is the mind Chakra, which controls the balance of emotions. On this level, people connect using the highest values like patience, self-sacrifice, and generosity.

Those in a relationship, who have balanced Third eye Chakras move together in permanent self-improvement and unity, and is considered to be a rare unit.

My intention behind today is for us to:

Open the gate of our inner wisdom! I invite you to close your physical eyes and let your third eye guide you.

Meditation 6

Yoga session 6

I would like to leave you to explore what this chakra means to you and how you can find your connection to balancing this energy. Therefore I have created the below handout for you to explore so many different ways and aspects that you can awaken and heal this space.

Lets get sciencey :)

Yogis have taught that the highest chakra vibrates with the highest frequency: the lower chakras vibrate with lower frequencies. There is a correlation within our bodies as well. Inside our skulls we have a couple of glands that react to light: the pituitary gland (situated right behind the eyes) and the pineal gland, deeper embedded in the brain - Associated with the crown chakra.

These glands have many functions, but one is to help us wake up in the morning light. Or help us synch with the cycles around us. If you take a look at a human skull you will witness how translucent the skull is around the eyes: light penetrates through the front of the skull stimulating these glands – this is the 6th chakra: the “command centre.” Light, of course, vibrates a very high frequency – billions of cycles per second (one cycle per second is called a hertz.) We need light to wake up; to activate our pituitary and pineal glands.

Pituitary gland; produces hormones and governs the function of the previous five glands; sometimes, the pineal gland is linked to the third eye chakra as well as to the crown chakra.

Chanting session 6

Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra

ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम् |
उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय माऽमृतात् ||

Aum Tryambakam yajaamahe sugandhim pushtivardhanam
Urvaarukamiva bandhanaan-mrityormuksheeya maamritaat

The Meaning of the Mantra:

We worship the three-eyed One, who is fragrant and who nourishes all.
Like the fruit falls off from the bondage of the stem, may we be liberated from death, from mortality.

Beyond the lyrics:

Shiva is one of the principal deities of Hinduism. He is the Supreme Being, who creates, protects and transforms the universe. However unlike other traditional belief systems where we worship the higher god detached from us, In this system of believes, there is a Shiva within each and every one of us. Therefore by chanting these words we are awakening the inner power within.

Therefore this mantra is also known as the moksha mantra and it connects human beings to their own inner divinity, and liberating one from the cycle of death and rebirth.

Chanted by my talented friend Steffi Bichweiler, her voice leads you to feel strong vibrations. Simply enjoy listening or join and sing along with her! @go.cyclic

Lastly…

“You don’t Have to Know the Path, just Take the First Step”

“As you start to walk out on the way, the way appears.”_ Rumi

Let that poem sink in and if you feel inspired to journal about your experience and jot down your feelings, questions, thoughts I would like to leave you with the following prompt:

6) How can I manifest my vision

I have done all I can to provide you with the tools you may need to tap into your inner potential. Now I need you to trust your inner voice. Just keep writing what your intuition tells you.
